Book the trip of a lifetime!
Enjoy an iconic outback adventure here in the Red Centre with our 6 day “The Rock” tour. Let our local knowledge and experience take you off the beaten track from Alice Springs to visit vast rivers, ancient dunes, and the spectacular time-worn formations of Uluru (Ayers Rock), Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) and Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon).
After a comfortable first night in 4-star accommodation, you’ll head off on a multi-terrain tour that covers part of the (in)famous Finke Desert Race track to lunch at the stunning geological feature, Chambers Pillar. Journey on through desert oak country to camp under a billion stars on the banks of the oldest, (usually dry) river in the world, the Finke River.
Through rambling remote station country we’ll make our way past Artilla (Mt Connor), to our “glamp” at Yulara where you’ll get the opportunity to take your hire bike out on your own time to explore the natural wonders and discover local Indigenous culture.
After seeing the wonders at ground level you’ll be whisked away for an awe-inspiring scenic flight to view the landscapes from above, landing at Kings Creek Station where your bike, support crew and vehicles will be waiting.
Once reunited with your bike, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the Canyon and perhaps take on the challenge of the rim walk! Then the adventure continues through the spectacular Finke Gorge National Park where our final night of camping beneath the burnished gorge-walls will simply take your breath away.
The final days ride takes us through magnificent country and back to Alice Springs where we’ll enjoy a farewell dinner before you’ll retire to your included accommodation for one last night in the Alice.
This is an awesome way to see some of Australia’s most iconic landmarks from the ground and the air, on an impeccably set up hire bike, with full support from our desert-loving crew. Not only is full mechanical support provided, you’ll be enjoying most nights under the stars in our quality swags, with every camping creature comfort met, feasting on delicious meals/snacks and yarning by the campfire with like-minded riders.
Do you have a friend or partner who doesn’t ride? Book them a seat in one of our support vehicles and you can experience the tour together where everything except the bike is part of the package!
Confidence riding on the dirt is necessary along with the ability to handle a solid days' riding across varied terrain.

The team at Outback Motorcycle Adventures pulled out all stops to make the 6 Days a unique, challenging and thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The route was 10/10, the team 11/10 as was the food.
Team up with some good mates to make it unforgettable, the heroic stories and BS will long outweigh a few aches and pains.
A recommended bucket list item for the off road enthusiast.
